 Updated for 2012, the Big Agnes Copper Spur UL2 is lighter and more compact than ever! The Big Agnes Copper Spur UL 2 Person Tent is a three season, free standing, backpacking tent perfect for any expedition where maintaining a light pack weight is extremely important. The updated Copper Spur UL2 is ONLY 3 lb 7 oz!! The body of the Copper Spur UL is lightweight nylon and polyester mesh, and the fly and floor are constructed with strong nylon rip-stop with a 1200mm waterproof polyurethane coating. Big Agnes uses their standard-setting DAC Combination lightweight pole system, including poles, press fit connectors, and hubs, made from TH72M aluminum with eco-friendly anodizing. Set up is quick and easy using the simple pole and hub design with color coded poles, grommet webbing, buckles, and DAC HClip. The Trail Weight of the Copper Spur UL 2 person tent is 3lb, 1oz, and the Packed Weight is 3lb, 7oz, but even with the light weight, you still have plenty of space when set up with the 29sq feet of floor area. Big Agnes adds in plenty of superior features on the Copper Spur UL, including rainbow doors, mesh pockets on the interior to organize gear, storm flaps on zippers, reflective guyline and stakeouts for nighttime visibility, and all of the seams are taped with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane tape.
