The Big Agnes Copper Spur UL1 was updated in 2012 and is lighter than ever before! With a packed weight of only 3 pounds, the Copper Spur UL1 is a top-of-the-line 1-person, 3-season, freestanding backpack tent. If you like some space in your tent and a removable rain fly, but you don’t want to lug 5 pounds of poles, either. Big Agnes designers feel the same, so they created the Copper Spur UL1, an ultralight 1-person, 3-season tent for your backcountry pursuits. The UL1 features DAC Featherlite NSL poles that DAC made for Big Agnes using an eco-friendly anodizing technique. These lightweight poles hook together using pressfit connectors and hubs, which makes setup a cinch. A small extra door gives you easy access to a second vestibule. For times when you want to shave even more ounces, leave the tent body behind and pack the fly with the Copper Spur UL1 Footprint (sold separately). The Copper Spur UL1 is so light you'll forget you're carrying it!
