 Make the Big Agnes Flying Diamond 4 Tent your bombproof basecamp! Designed to hold up in harsh conditions, Big Agnes' best-selling Flying Diamond tents offer lots of room for maximum livability; new for 2011 is the four person version.
The Flying Diamond 4 person tent is spacious and feature-rich. If you plan to hunker down for some extended base camping or car camping this four person tent is right for you. Rugged materials, weatherproof coatings and sturdy pole construction will ensure that the Flying Diamond 4 provides 3+ season functionality for your group outings.
Double D shaped doors make entering and exiting the Big Agnes Flying Diamond 4 easy. Both doors have vertical zippers with storm flaps and can be staked out with trekking poles to create an awning. The Flying Diamond 4 offers a roomy 69 square feet of interior space. With a large front vestibule and smaller back vestibule the Flying Diamond four person tent offers an additional 26.5 square feet of weather-protected external storage space for your family and friends. Bonus features like interior mesh storage pockets increase livability by stowing gear and freeing up floor space. Integrated interior gear loft loops offer connection points for the Big Agnes Square Gear Loft (sold separately).
DAC Combination Lightweight aluminum poles provide rugged durability. The overlapping design grants reliable strength to the Big Agnes Flying Diamond 4. Color-coded webbing and buckles work in tandem with a clip system to make it easy to set up the Flying Diamond 4. Superlight aluminum stakes are included to fully secure the tent and bolster strength in windy conditions. Reflective highlights in the guyline provide visibility when returning to the tent at night.
The Big Agnes Flying Diamond 4's tent body is constructed of breathable polyester rip-stop. Nylon mesh windows provide ventilation. A 1500mm waterproof PU coating on the Flying Diamond 4’s polyester rip-stop rainfly helps to keep moisture from reaching the interior of the tent. The mesh front and rear doors of the tent further enhance airflow and employ zippered storm flaps for weather protection and privacy. All of the Flying Diamond 4's seams are tape-sealed to further protect against the elements. A custom-fit footprint (sold separately) can be used to further protect the floor of the Big Agnes Flying Diamond 4 against moisture, rocks and exposed roots.
