 New for 2011! Tall and spacious, the Big Agnes King Creek 6 6-Person Tent serves as an excellent base camp or family camping tent. Durable and well-ventilated, the Big Agnes King Creek 6 is equipped for 3-season use.
The Big Agnes King Creek 6 provides 86.5 square feet of interior floor space. A massive, front vestibule with dual doors offers 110.5 square feet of additional sheltered exterior space! This extremely roomy, front vestibule is large enough to sit 3 people in chairs, or stow a large amount of gear or bicycles should the weather turn bad. A smaller, rear vestibule offers even more storage space. Lightweight, durable DAC aluminum poles with press-fit connectors give the King Creek 6 structure and provide an interior peak height of 66”. The press-fit design reduces strain on the pole connections, decreasing the likelihood of pole breakage. An additional brow pole helps to add structure to the rainfly and creates the large amount of space found in the front vestibule. Interior mesh pockets serve as hideaways for gear and maximize the usability of the available floor space.
The body of the Big Agnes King Creek 6 is made of durable polyester ripstop fabric. Extensive mesh on the large front door and ceiling panels increases cross ventilation and combats condensation build-up. In cooler weather you can zip a layer of ripstop fabric over the doors to help keep heat in. All of the King Creek 6's seams are tape-sealed and the fly and floor have polyurethane coatings to provide further protection against the elements.
The Big Agnes King Creek 6's freestanding design allows you to set up the tent and then move it around your campsite to find the optimal position. No more sleeping on rocks or tree roots! Color-coded clip and buckle construction make set up easy. Guylines and 17 aluminum stakes are included to help you further secure the King creek 6 and reflective highlights in the guyline provide nighttime visibility.
A custom-fit footprint (sold separately) can be used to further protect the floor of the Big Agnes King Creek 6 against rocks, exposed roots, mud and ground water.
