 The Big Agnes Lost Ranger +15° Down Sleeping Bag by Big Agnes.Packed with 650-fill goose down, the Big Agnes Lost Ranger Sleeping Bag packs to two-thirds the size of comparable mummy bags. Big Agnes sleeping bags leave out the insulation on their bottoms because down compressed by your weight loses virtually all of its insulating value. Instead, Big Agnes uses a sleeve to hold your sleeping pad in the floor of your bag. Because of this unique design you're offered more warmth than insulation that would otherwise get compressed, you never roll off your pad, and the whole sha-bang packs down into a fast-and-light package. What's in a name?
Lost Ranger Peak, a few miles south of Big Agnes Mountain, is perched above one of the most beautiful basins in Colorado. In the dead of winter, it could possibly be one of the most inhospitable spots anywhere. The jet stream is most comfortable when resting on top of this flat-topped peak; even on huge snow years, the summit of Lost Ranger is scoured to the frozen ground.
