Deuter Vari-Quick System

This Deuter harness system can be adjusted quick and easily to accomodate different body sizes. To adjust, open the Velcro closure, slip the harness strap into the desired position along the ladder, lace the strap through four loops and secure the Velcro closure. Two moldable aluminum stays stabilize the pack and transfer weight to the hip belt. The stays can be formed to closely fit the shape of the user. The top stabilizer straps adjust the angle between the users back and the pack. Adjustment straps on the hip belt increase lateral stability.


Deuter SL Women's Fit System

In general, women's backs are not quite as long as men's; hence the Deuter SL system having a slightly shorter torso length. The SL system was built by a team of women, who are constantly pushing the boundaries in the outdoors. The shorter torso and narrower dimensions set this pack apart from the standard Deuter Fit. A pack designed by women, for women.


Deuter Advanced Aircomfort System

You can put an end to sweaty back syndrome! The Deuter Advanced Aircomfort system keeps the back from coming in direct contact with the wearer's back. Moist air can freely escape through the three-sided system preventing heat build-up. Test results from Germany's Hohenstein Research Institute show that the Aircomfort system reduces perspiration up to 25%. Additional padding at the shoulder blades and hips increase the carrying comfort.


Deuter Aircomfort Futura System

The heart of the Aircomfort systemis the powder-coated durable spring steel frame. This frame supports and tensions the mesh back panel, creating a space between the pack body and the wearer. This space allows warm air to escape from both sides and the bottom of the panel ensuring effective air circulation. Spring steel's resilient and flexible nature creates an active system, keeping constant tension on the mesh. Soft lumbar pads improve the fit and load distribution. Deuter is the originator of this type of back system, having designed and patented it back in 1985.


Deuter Aircomfort Vario-Futura System

The Vario-Futura combines two proven Deuter systems, Vari-Quick and Aircomfort, to provide individual back length adjustability as well as great ventilation. For optimal load carrying, the backpack weight is transferred through two aluminum stays directly into the ergonomic hip belt.


Deuter Aircontact System

It is easier to carry heavy loads when the backpack and wearer form a single entity. This is the principle behind the successful Deuter Aircontact back system. As you hike, Deuter's hydro and thermo-phobic Aircontact foam creates a pump effect through optimal compression and expansion. This provides all-round ventilation and results in outstanding comfort both in load carrying and climate. The X-frame system allows for precise load distribution.
