Granite Gear

Jeff Knight and Dan Cruikshank founded Granite Gear in 1986 with the idea that they could make gear that genuinely worked, and supported wilderness adventurers in the pursuit of discovering something about themselves. They continue to design innovative, functional and durable gear. Jeff and Dan still own Granite Gear and believe in a grassroots way of doing business, satisfying one customer at a time. They are dedicated to being environmentally friendly by making long-lasting products (as evidenced by one of the lowest return rates in the country), ensuring that all of their products are PVC free, and miminizing packaging is minimized (most being made from 85% post consumer recycled cardstock, with no glue.)
