- Free shipping anywhere in the lower 48 United States for all orders totalling over $75.00 - Choose the "economy" shipping option on your order.
- Valid on any order over $75.00 - regardless of the number of items or package weight.
- Please allow 5-9 business days for delivery. If you need it faster, call us to find out your expedited shipping options.
- We reserve the right to choose whichever delivery option - be it UPS, FedEx, or the United States Postal Service - best serves our customer's needs and conserves costs.
2.Typical Delivery Windows
Your Package will SHIP in the following timeframe (note actual delivery to you depends on where you are and which warehouse we are shipping from):
- FREE Economy (over $75 order total): 7-15 business days
- Economy (under $75 order total): 7-15 business days
- Standard Ground: 5-9 business days, FedEx Delivery (no PO Boxes or APO/FPO), Continental US
- Express: 3-7 business days, FedEx delivery (no PO Boxes or APO/FPO)
- SUPER FAST: Call us to get a quote for getting it to you faster or guaranteed!
- US Postal Service PO Box Delivery: Delivery times very, will ship in 3-6 business days
- US Postal Service APO/FPO Delivery: Delivery times vary, will ship in 3-6 business days
- International shipping quote: All International shipments must ship from our international shipping warehouse in Vermont. International order will ship via US Postal service 3-8 business days from the time of the order. Delivery times vary and often depend on customs procedures both in the US and in the receiving country). Generally customers get their order 10-20 business days from order.
- Retail Store Pickup, Vermont, USA: You can arrange to pick up your package at our retail outlet by choosing this option. Please note 6% Vermont sales taxes will apply for any items that are not food and clothing.
PLEASE NOTE we often beat these estimates. We can often offer express shipping options - call us for a quote!
Fast Shipping Policy
- We understand that you want your package as quickly as possible and we do our best to ship 99% of our customer orders within 3 business days.
- If we aren't able to ship your order within 3 business days, we will email you and let you know why, offer other options if appropriate, and sometimes even refer you to another retailer who can ship the product(s) to you faster than we can.
- Tracking numbers are always emailed to our customers within 24 hours of packages shipping out from one of our warehouses, and sometimes they are mailed before your package gets on the delivery truck. We use a combination of FedEx, UPS, and the US Post Office for shipping. If you've made a purchase during a Discounted Shipping period on our website, we may use the US Post Office to save money on shipping.
- FedEx and UPS tracking numbers can be tracked at either at www.fedex.com or www.ups.com, respectively.
- US Post Office packages do not have tracking numbers, but do have delivery confirmation numbers, and those are emailed to you. They can be checked at www.usps.com
- Most orders ship from our Waterbury, VT warehouse and retail store, but we use many warehouses across the USA and because of our excellent relationships with manufacturers, we can even ask them to send a product directly to you (no extra charge). We try to always use a warehouse closer to you, if possible.
3. More Shipping Info/FAQs
To find out how much shipping will be for your order, add your desired item(s) to your cart. You will not be committing to an order if you do this! When in the cart, choose your desired shipping option and "apply" it. Then check the shipping charges on your order.
Preferred Carriers: Generally we use the United States Postal Service and Federal Express.
Alaska and Hawaii customers may choose any shipping method for shipment. Generally we use USPS Priority Mail for order to Alaska and Hawaii unless otherwise requested and paid for.
All Military APO/FPO packages ship via USPS Priority Mail. Packages typically arrive within 4-7 days to the Military Hub. Unfortunately, tracking numbers are not available for this type of shipment, and shipping times vary once the package is inside the military mail system. We will hope for a better way of delivering packages to our military soon! :)
International Shipping charges vary by country and we are happy to ship to any of the 34 countries listed in our secure checkout cart. We use the US Post Office and their Express Mail International service to ship packages outside the USA. All international packages ship insured and require signature upon delivery. To receive an international shipping quote, please place an item in your shopping cart, and enter your shipping address. Shipping charges are calculated automatically. Delivery times vary greatly, often depending on the customs practices in the receiving country. We find that most packages arrive 10-20 business days after the order.
Special Request? We are happy to work with any of our customers if special shipping needs are required. We always choose the best method to get our products to our customers quickly, but securely.
4. Returns Policy and FAQs (Please note our policy about multiple returns!)
PLEASE NOTE our return policy for boots and shoes! We will allow up to two returns per customer per buying period. After that, a $25.00 restocking fee will apply. What does this mean? Basically, we are a family business and relatively small operation. We love to serve our customers but we are not able to send and restock multiple shoes to aid in a single purchase decision. If you are near our store in Vermont, come on in and try some things on! (you might want to call first to make sure we have your size here). Or, consider going to your nearby store to check style and fit. Or order as many as you like from us and plan to pay the restocking fee. Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
We've tried to answer your most likely questions regarding returns below:
- Up to how long can I return an item? Up to 60 days, give or take. :)
- Where do I return my item(s)? Please send all returns to our main Waterbury, VT warehouse. The address is listed at the bottom of this page.
- Does it still need to be NEW? All items do need to be in a NEW and UNUSED condition. Please also include all of the original tags, boxes, literature, etc. We want to be able to it to another outdoor lover, and we have no way to sell used gear. If your product is used, consider trying to sell it yourself online or to a friend! If you send it back to us used or soiled, we will assess a cleaning or replacement fee. In some cases we can send your used/soiled item back to you for a nominal shipping cost.
- What do I do first? Email us for a Return Authorization (RA#) before returning your purchase. This lets us know to expect it and speeds up the processing of any credits to your account.
- Do I have to pay for return shipping? Yes, but use whatever method you'd like that is convenient to you.
- How long does it take to get my money back? We process returns once per week. So at the outside, we will inspect and restock your item and process a credit in 5 business days or less.
- What if I want an exchange? You can approach an exchange two ways:
- If you are interested in getting the alternate product faster, place a new order and we can get that product moving for you. Separately, send in the return and you won't have to wait for us to process the return and credit.
- Alternatively, you can return the item you have and make a note for us to call you to place a new order when we have processed your original order. If you use this method it will take a bit longer for you to get your exchanged product, but saves you from having a double cost for the time it takes for your original order to reach us and be processed.
5. Hours of Operation
- Internet Customer Service phone and email hours are from 9:00 am until 5:30 pm EST, Monday through Friday, but we sometimes expand hours into the weekend and often return emails throughout the weekend. Feel free to email us at info@ccoutdoorstore.com.
- Retail Outlet Come visit us in beautiful Vermont! Please note that our retail outlet has a little bit of everything, but especially with boots and shoes, it is recommended you call first if coming in to try a specific boot or size. If we don't have it here, we can bring it in for you!

HOLIDAY CLOSURES and SHIPPING DELAYS:
Please note many shipping carriers have abbreviated hours during the week of December 24-January 2. Some of the warehouses we work with will be closed for that entire week as well. Please revise your shipping expectations accordingly.
