The Integral Designs Sil Poncho offers rain protection when being worn or slept under. The Sil Poncho's edges are fitted with light webbing tie loops and snap closures so it can be used as a tarp or turn it into a makeshift bivy, pack cover or sleeping bag cover. Integral Design's ultra lightweight multi-purpose sil poncho is essential gear for outdoor adventurers who must be prepared for any conditions.

Integral Designs led the way using 30 denier parachute ripstop nylon with silicon impregnation. This "Sil Nylon" weighs only 1.35 oz per sq yd. Sil Nylon fabric is incredibly strong and resilient; Sil Nylon is the secret behind Integral Designs poncho. There are 12 light weight nylon webbing tie loops on the corners and along the edges for versatile tarp set up. The ID Sil Poncho's hood is located in the centre, and has a drawcord adjustment / closure. When worn as a poncho there is 4 ft of coverage down the wearer's front and 4 ft down the back. The poncho extends 2 1/2 ft on each side across the shoulders and arms. The back and front of the poncho can be snapped together at waist and thigh level to prevent flapping in the wind. 4 Snaps are installed into the edge of the poncho through the webbing loops. The bottom edge of the poncho has a shock cord installed to enable the poncho to be snugged around the bottom of a backpack and tied off around the wearer's waist for security in windy conditions..
