• All Julbo lenses are optical category 1, guaranteeing 100% protection against UVA, B and C radiation.
• The Polarized 3 lens is a medium darkness Julbo lens. It is a polycarbonate lens that comes standard as polarized. It has a 12% rate of transmission of visible light and an EC Protection Index rating of 3, meaning that it allows between 8% to 18% of light through the lens. This lens is polarized.
• The Falcon lens is Julbo's best multipurpose lens and recommended for driving. Sensitive to visible light and polarizing with anti-reflective and oil-repellent coatings, the new Falcon lens is perfect for travel, driving and different types of sunny conditions. It guarantees clear vision at all times regardless of the light, weather and even the continent. The photochromic lens gets darker or lighter in accordance with the intensity of the light. BWS or "Behind the Windshield" means the lens is sensitive to visible light. The lens will get darker behind a windshield and is therefore particularly suitable for driving. The Falcon lens is polarized, eliminating glare from all reflective surfaces — water, tarmac, glass, etc. — and provides the purest of vision. An anti-reflective coating has been applied to the Falcon lens, reducing eye strain and eliminating interference glare. An oil-repellent coating has also been applied, preventing finger or grease marks and making cleaning easier. Lastly, the copper color emphasizes contrast, enhances colors and makes vision more comfortable. This lens is particularly suitable for driving. It has a 9-20% rate of transmission of visible light and an EC Protection Index rating of 2-3, meaning that it allows between 8% and 43% of light through the lens.
