The MSR Women's Lightning Ascent is a high performance women’s snowshoe that accounts for subtle differences in the female stride. The Lightning Ascent is an efficient snowshoe for anyone with a narrow gait, or those seeking the lightest possible alternative in our most aggressive snowshoe. This snowshoe has the technical advantages of the men’s Lightning Ascent snowshoe—-unprecedented 360° traction and unmatched, all-terrain performance--but fits smaller frames.
The Ergo™ Televators heel traction will keep your calves from burning while ascending and the new MSR's 360° Traction™ frames are tailored to a woman's or narrow gait. Water-jet cut from a single, vertical blade of aerospace-grade aluminum, the 360° Traction™ frames deliver unprecedented three hundred-sixty degree traction that simply dominates all other shoes. Simply stated, the MSR Lightning Ascent snowshoes the most reliable winter back country transportation available for women.
When combined with the Modular Flotation tails (sold separately), the MSR Lightning Ascent snowshoes are adaptable, lightweight, and easy to use in all conditions, especially in deep powder.
